The new content paying system by Google was presented

Google Inc. yesterday announced the launch of a new service – the payment system, which will be most interesting for content publishers of all kinds. I suggest a somewhat more detailed information on the new service of Google. So, through this payment system, called One Pass publishers can receive  pay for access to the different content from readers. In this case, OnePass allows publishers to choose the type of reader access to the content. It may be, for example, access to a specific article, or access to all publications in a given period.
Publishers have the opportunity to fix prices for the customers. There is also a version of the discounts – for example, many publications offer discounts to customers who are subscribed to the print edition, and plan to subscribe to the electronic content. We should mention that the new Content payment system from Google creates competition to similar service of Apple. In this case, Google  takes only 10% of the commission for their service, but Apple requires considerably more – 30%.
Payment system of Google is also much more open than the service from Apple. Anyway, with the consent of the readers, Google provides publishers names, passwords, secret data such as users’ e-mail address, name and other data. Again, it is only with the consent of the subscriber.

The resulting content can be opened be the reader in the PC and mobile devices, including communicators, tablets and other devices. To get started with OnePass, the publisher must register to get the code to paste on the site and provide Google with the list of materials for which the publisher wants to charge. Currently, service is already running in the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Canada, USA and France.

Google developers have reported that the goal of creating the new payment system is to provide an open and flexible platform, which continues the obligations of the corporation to support publishing, journalism and access to quality content. Like the  First Click Free, Fast Flip and Living Stories a new initiative has been designed to provide publishers freely distribute content in digital form. Companies such as Axel Springer AG, Focus Online, Popular Science, Media General, NouvelObs have already joined the initiative of the corporation.
